2nd-3rd Graders
Use MacGreger Softsafe Level 5 ball or similar.

60’ between bases, 40’ pitchers mound (optional distance if agreed by both managers)
Batting
EH is allowed (can have 10 batters in the line-up). If team wants to have a universal batting order (All who show up bat) they must declare it at the start of the game.
Pitching
Coaches OR Machine pitch. THREE SWINGS AND THE BATTER IS OUT!
5 run mercy rule per innings except last inning of the game. If the away team is behind by more than 5 runs at the top of the last inning, then the away team will be allowed to score as many runs up to the point where they achieve a one run lead.
No Infield Fly Rule
Stealing is allowed once the CATCHER has possession of the ball. No stealing on the pitcher. Runners can only steal one base at a time. A max of three steals per inning. No stealing home it must be achieved by a batted ball or a walk.
Once the ball is returned to the pitcher’s mound play is ended.
Runners may only advance 1 base on an over throw AT THEIR ON RISK.
Coaches may assist defensively on the field ( max 2 coaches behind the infielders).
NOTE: VARIENCY FROM THESE RULES IS ALLOWED ONLY IF BOTH TEAMS AGREE AT THE START OF THE GAME. IF BOTH TEAMS DO NOT AGRRE THEN THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED UNDER THE ABOVE RULES

4th-5th Graders

Inning Mercy Rule
5 run mercy rule per innings except last inning of the game. If the away team is behind by more than 5 runs at the top of the last inning, then the away team will be allowed to score as many runs up to the point where they achieve a one run lead. Then the home will get up if behind
Game Mercy Rule
10 run mercy rule will apply after 90 minuets of play.
Stealing is allowed once the ball passes home plate. No stealing on the pitcher. Runners can only steal one base at a time. A max of three steals per inning. No stealing home, must be earned. No balks.
Pitchers may only pitch 4 innings or NO MORE THAN 12 OUTS per game. Pitchers will be allowed 5 warm-up pitches at of the start of each inning unless 1st inning or pitcher change than 7 warm-up pitches.
If pitchers hits batters 3 time in an inning or 5 times in a game they must be removed as a putcher, can be placed in any other position
No Infield Fly Rule.
Players arriving late will be added to the end of the batting order.
Once the ball is returned to the pitcher’s mound play is ended (including an overthrow).
Batter is out on dropped third strike.
60’ Baseline
46’ from home to pitcher’s mound (40’ optional if both managers agree)
Runners must avoid contact at all bases. Fielders can not block the base/plate unless in possession of the ball.
If playing with 4 outfielders then all outfielders must be on the grass (not on the infield clay)

Re-Entry Rule (Batting Order):
Unlimited re-entry but batting order can not be changed.
Note: Pitchers can not reenter the game as a pitcher.

If there are two outs in an inning and your catcher is on base you must replace him with a pitch runner. If possible should be a bench player not currently in the game.
12U Division
6th-7th Graders

Maximun of 5 runs allowed per half inning.
10 run mercy rule will apply after 90 minuets of play.
50’ PITCHERS MOUND.
70’ BASE LINE
STEALING ALLOWED - ONLY ON THE RELEASE OF THE BALL BY THE PITCHER. NO LEADS & NO BALKS.
If ahead by 5 runs no stealing home.
If ahead by 10 runs no stealing AT ANY BASE.
Runners must avoid contact at all bases.
Batter is out on dropped third strike.
9 defensive players on the field.
EH is allowed but must remain throughout the game.
DH is allowed but must remain throughout the game.
Re-Entry Rule (BATTING ORDER):
If a player is removed from the game he may return (only once) but only for the player that substituted for him. The substitute player may not re-enter. The only exception is for an injury replacement when only 9 players are available then the original substitute player may re-enter for the injured player in the injured players batting order. No restrictions on defensive player substitution.
Note: Pitchers can not reenter the game as a pitcher.

14U “SR” Division 8th-9th Graders
Umpires
2 umpire per game. Umpire Fee is $30.00 per team per ump (total of $60 per team)
If only one umpire shows then each team will pay $50.00 (total of $100.00)
If a team fails to show to a game then that organization will be charged the full umpire fees ($100), unless notification is given 48 hours in advance.
Each team will supply 2 new balls per game.
Metal cleats NOT ALLOWED
Field Dimensions:
60’6” Picher’s Mound
90’ BASE LINE (where possible)
Game will consist of 6 innings.
“Mercy Rule” In the event a team is up by 10 or more runs after 90 minutes of play the game will be called by the umpire.
EH are allowed (10 man batting order). If the Extra Hitter (EH) is used to replace a defenses starter the EH retains his EH batting position.
Must avoid contact on all bases including Home.
